Companion animal massage offers many opportunities AND there is also much to consider, such as: what is required to be a certified animal massage therapist? What laws govern animal massage in my area? Will this be a full time job or a side hustle? To get answers to those types of questions, the downloadable resource guide is a great place to start. If you have additional questions or want further discussion, coaching/mentoring sessions are available by phone and Zoom. 15 minute calls are free!
Are You Recently Certified?
Have you recently completed your animal massage certification and are just starting to see clients? We realize there is a “missing step” between certification and operating a successful pet massage practice. This transition may seem daunting at first. Many new practitioners are not sure how to get started or feel that they may not be “ready”. Our basic downloadable resource guide can provide some guidance, but more in depth discussions are often warranted at this stage. Mentoring/coaching is available by phone and Zoom. Case reviews, massage related guidance and session shadowing are available. Fees for coaching and consultation sessions are based on regular hourly rates. Shadowing fees may vary based on the total number of client appointments that day.

"I appreciated the opportunity to shadow massage sessions in action. Applying lessons learned in my training to the everyday world provided additional value to my education. This extra step helped me to more confidently move from student to practitioner. Carrie is also available to confer on cases, as needed. Thanks, Kneaded Pets!" Holli Yeary, Heartful Massage, Arlington, TX
"My dogs were clients of Carrie’s, and I was so inspired by her work that I enrolled in canine massage school myself! Carrie’s guidance was instrumental in the process to get my certification. Having a trusted resource to answer questions and guide me through starting my own massage practice was invaluable. I found there were a lot of gaps in school coursework in regards to real client sessions and establishing a business. Carrie is a great mentor who has over 15 years of experience and knows the ins and outs of the industry. I highly recommend reaching out to her for guidance!
